Geocaching is a treasure hunting game enjoyed by people from all age groups. Using GPS devices, people throughout the world seek adventure or just a pleasant day exploring the countryside, towns, and cities. The basic idea is to locate hidden containers, called geocaches, and then share experiences online.
Lincoln County has a growing number of caches. Anyone with a GPS device can try to locate geocaches shared on-line by other geocahers. Along the way, geoachers can learn about geograrphy, environment, and the history of an area.
