With a population of around 1,750, Davenport is the largest town and the county seat of Lincoln County. A variety of services for visitors are available, including restaurants, churches, city park, RV facilities, motels, a hospital and clinic, public library, grocery stores, pharmacies, laundromat, auto service stations, and much more.

Known as "The Gateway to the Lake Roosevelt Recreation Area," Davenport is also host to the Lincoln County Fair and an Old Time Harvest demonstration in August, rodeo events, parades, car shows, blue grass music events, and more.

The Davenport Historical Society Museum is a great place for antique and history buffs to visit.
