The Annual Almira Country Fair is held each year during the last weekend in September. This event features a parade, craft show, games and other old fashioned country activities.

The Hotel Almira is on the National Register of Historic Places. Kathy McKay runs a trail horse service at Sunridge farms, 3 miles north of Almira. Riders of all skill levels can enjoy a ride through the majestic Northrup Canyon. On this 20 mile stretch the bird watching is at it’s best. This trail is a loop off the tourist route called the Coulee Corridor. Both Lake Roosevelt and Banks Lake are within 30 miles of Almira.
